RECOLLECTING AS CONSTRUED HAPPENINGS
2015
Recollecting as construed happenings is an exploration of the desires linked to forming and maintaining memory.Â
Reflecting upon an excursion to Italy, and feeling a sense of love and loss, this body of work questions the validity of memory, and how it is linked to emotion/desire. A personal indulgence in wanting to etch memories in a solid medium, the works show for themselves the distortions and exaggerations linked to memory.
